Morgan + Leica Q2

I’ve repeatedly mentioned that one of the great things about this job is meeting with and vibing with someone I just met and ‘meeting’ on the same wavelength and being able to create and come together with a similar vision; Morgan was exactly that. The funny thing is I and she had set a time limit to the shoot, 2 hours; I did the same thing, and the reason why I do this is because once in a blue moon, after a few shoots, I just am not feeling it with the subject and I need an out, and the time limit is the perfect ‘out’ for me, the funny thing is it’s also the same way she does things! LOL!

We met at a cafe that was a bit crowded with a bunch of students, so we went outside to try to shoot as it was a beautiful day, and so even though I brought my Profoto A2 to use, we never used it as the existing light was fantastic! But, because of the crowd, after a few photos, we decided to move on and found a brand new cafe that had no one in it. After a few questions, they said we could use the cafe as our ‘studio,’ and we shot the rest of the time there; the 2-hour limit was extended, and we finally ended after 4 hours!
