Cebu, Manila + Fujifilm X-H2s

For about a week and a day a friend and I took a trip to Cebu & then to Manila for a short vacation, say hello to family and friends basically a little R&R. It also coincided with the fact that I just received my X-H2s and I wanted to test it out put it through its paces as it were.

I love going back to my hometown of Cebu, its almost cathartic, its where I was born and though we left here in ‘73 and I was about 5 or 6, can’t remember clearly now, lol, its always nice to visit.

I wander through the streets and people watch and try to really ‘see’ the everyday and I think of my parents who 60+ years earlier walked these same streets going through their everyday and it makes me think of what they thought their future would be like, its a motivator for me to try and really see that everyday and capture it on film as it were.

My Fujifilm cameras really help me in that endeavor; it helps me first to envision and then it aids me in bringing to fruition what i have in my minds eye! The film simulations are a wonderful plus to my vision for that added depth to what I saw.
